Stanford Le Hope Cricket Club Tour 2010
Monday 31st May - Friday 4th June
Our new Team Secretary for the 2010 season, Clive Ballard, has taken over the responsibility of co-ordinating the always popular Annual Cricket Tour.
Although everybody (Except for maybe Gary Hughes!!!) thoroughly enjoyed last years tour to Weymouth, everyone was slightly disappointed that we didn't manage to play any cricket matches (apart from the odd bit of Beach Cricket!!).
This year, we have learnt our lessons and have decided to get everything organised earlier than usual so hopefully we can actually play a bit of cricket on our cricket tour as well as the drinking. We are hoping to have a cricket match on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday whilst away.
Clive has provisionally booked 6 x 3 bedroom Superior Caravans that sleep up to 8 people in each caravan at the Haven Holiday Village in Chichester, West Sussex. We would like as many people involved with the club to come along so if more caravans are required, this should be fine but make sure you get your names in asap. There is a signing sheet in the clubhouse that people can sign whenever.
Prices are unsure at the moment but it should range between £50 and £100 for the week but I will update everyone as soon as we know
