Fantasy Managers also have the option to
transfer players at any time during the Competition. All transfer cost £1.00 each, they must
be received prior to the start of any matches, and a transfer cannot alter the
original format of a Fantasy Team (e.g. you can only transfer a batsman for
another batsman, and the total cannot exceed the maximum of 70 or the minimum
of 50).
SLHCC Fantasy League 2006 Following the tremendous success and support for the Fantasy League over the last four years, I am pleased to launch the 2006 competition. Profit from the SLHCC Fantasy League over the last three years is in excess of £1,400.00, with a greater amount being paid out in prize money. Prizes for the 2006 Competition Fantasy League Manager of the Year Second Placed Fantasy Manager Third Placed Fantasy Manager Bottom Placed Fantasy Manager Fantasy Managers of the Month for May, June, July, and August Fantasy Lady Manager of the Year Fantasy Young Manager of the Year (under 16) The 2006 prize money is dependant on the number of Fantasy Teams that enter the competition and will continue to be 50% of the total entrance fees. Entry fee remains at £10.00 per team. HOW DO YOU ENTER A TEAM Its easy and fun to enter a team or teams, just follow the steps below and complete the Fantasy League Application Form 2006. (1) Chose a name for your Fantasy Team. (No more than twenty characters, including spaces). (2) Select your sides of eleven different players chosen from the Fantasy Players Selection List. (3) Return your completed application form(s) to John Hicks, or alternatively leave them behind the bar for collection (enclosing the £10.00 entry fee per Fantasy Team, please make cheques payable to: Stanford-le-Hope Cricket Club). Teams can also be entered by e-mail at: john.w.hicks@virgin.net WHERE CAN I FIND THE FANTASY LEAGUE TABLES? Weekly Fantasy League Tables and a Summary of Player Points will be e-mailed direct, displayed on the Clubhouse Notice Board. The object of the Fantasy League is for everyone to have a bit of fun, whilst having the chance to win some money, as well as raising some funds for SLHCC, all at the same time. |
