Week 16 *** SLHCC 1st XI secure a 27 run win over Basildon with Captain Lee Knight hitting 49 not out *** 6-37 from Captain Andy Powley helps the 2nd XI win a dramatic 8 run win over Old Parkonians *** The 3rd XI lose by 8 wickets to Walthamstow 5th XI *** Due to Billericay 5th XI being unable to raise a side, the 4th XI picked up the maximum 20 points for a win *** Week 17 *** Despite 38 from Ross Poulton and 4-35 from Neil Samwell, the 1st XI suffer a 3 wicket defeat to Wickford *** Half centurys from Kevin Smith (57*) and James Drain (56) were not enough for the 2nd XI as the rain caused the match against Belhus 2's to be drawn *** The 3rd XI draw with Basildon 4th XI at the rec with Rob Pearn hitting 32 and Andy Freeman taking 3-47 *** The 4th XI (only had 9 players) suffer a big defeat to Harold Wood 5th's despite Adrian Page's 4-57 ***

Following the success and support for the SLHCC Fantasy League over many years I am pleased to launch the 2007 competition.

The 2007 SLHCC Fantasy League will follow the same format as in previous years, Fantasy Manager of the Year, Manager's of the Month. The only change, an increase in prize money (dependant on the number of teams that enter the 2007 competition).

The closing date for all entries was Friday 25th May 2007, and there will be no deduction of points for entries received prior to that date.
