The SRGUG, in its commitment to enhance the facilities at The Rec, has paid for the re-lining of the car park.  Although the SRGUG is not legally required to undertake such work on it own, the lack of funds available from the local authorities has meant that this work has been paid for entirely by the SRGUG.

The car park is not for the exclusive use of SRGUG members nevertheless the SRGUG recognised the need for organised parking at the ground and accordingly has taken the matter upon itself.

We ask all User Club members to ensure that the car park is used properly and safely, especially with there being many youngsters amongst our members’ families as unfortunately the SRGUG cannot accept liability for any accidents that place in the car park and indeed any part of Stanford Rec.
